Early flight out this morning, arrived in Barcelona, and immediately caught a train to Girona.
We were invited to stay with Rhiannon's professor and her husband in their apartment in Girona. Oh, what an ancient and charming place in Catalunya.
It is a walled city from Roman times and most of the wall is intact, in fact you can walk around it.
(Rhiannon's professor later informed her that Game of Thrones is filmed in Girona, too).
